Guitars: 1958 Fender Stratocaster
I got real lucky when I found this Strat in 2002. I prefer a hard driving tone and a lot of complexity. I've played many late 1950s Strats, and I haven't found one that compares to this '58. When I originally bought this particular guitar it had all the original parts, unbroken solder connections, original strap and ashtray bridge cover. I have since had it refretted and swapped out the volume pot.
Underside of pickguard.
10/58 body date.
As you can see in the later photos, every time I take her out I feel like I'm losing about $200 on the paint as it chips away. She is definitely a tone benchmark for me.

I still gig this axe quite a bit. She is a blast to play.
