Guitar Rigs: Thirty-plus years of gear

About these gear photos:
Here are some live rigs from 2019-2022

2019 Don's Rig

2019

2012 Gibson Sammy Hagar Signature Explorer, 1975 Stratocaster, 1995 Fender Reissue Reverb Unit and a '61 Vibrolux chassis in a new cabinet loaded with a 1968 Jensen Ceramic speaker. I used a pedal board with this setup. Sounded very nice in this small club. As of 2022 this is my go-to setup for blues.

2020 Rock Rig

2020

First time I used a pedalboard since the 1980s. Set this up for a classic rock and blues cover band. This iteration is a mini-Ibanez TS-808 -> La Grange overdrive -> Tremolessence -> MXR Carbon Copy delay -> Fulltone Uni-Vibe (9v version) -> RMC Picture Wah -> Super Clean Boost -> DiAddario Tuner. Was also using my '71 blackfaced Twin Reverb for many of these pre-pandemic gigs. This was a decent setup to get through all of our songs. I have since updated this board to work better with my other gear.

2021 Rig

2021

This was at a smaller club where we loved playing and the local fans really loved the band. I brought out the '63 Vibroverb and jumpered it into the '61 Super. I played the '54 Strat the whole show. Used my pedalboard in the pic above. As the club was smaller, I added the plexiglass so it wouldn't be blasting too much. Sadly, recently found out this venue has now closed.
