When I go out on the road, I take the following items with me to ensure the show goes on:

  • Spare fuses for each amp
  • Spare power and pre-amp tubes
  • Weller 30-watt soldering iron
  • 1 lb. solder roll
  • Fluke 179 Digital Multimeter
  • Phillips head screwdriver x 2
  • Flat-blade Screwdriver x 2
  • 100K 1/2-watt resistors
  • 470-ohm and 1K 1-watt resistors
  • Extra sets guitar and bass strings
  • Spare input/speaker jacks for Fender and Marshall
  • Deoxit D5 tuner cleaner
  • Spare guitar and effects cables
  • Spare Speaker Cables
  • Spare guitar strap
  • 1 roll electrical tape
  • 1 roll duct tape
  • 1 flashlight + spare batteries
  • Weber Bias-Rite
  • Female -> Female 1/4" cable connector

    These are the items I have found that I needed many times throughout the years. Some of you may think about adding these items before your next roadie.
